Beim Katharinenball 2007 wurde eine neue „Miss Burgenland New York 2008“ gewählt, die sich hier vorstellt:

„My name is Amanda Drauch. I am visiting the Molloy College in Rockville Center, Long Island, New York. Some day I want to be a registered nurse. I graduated Highschool with an advanced regents diploma. In the Highschool I was the captain of our bowling team. I have been in the top ten of the girl bowlers. I was in a Medical Assisting Vocational School and there I won multiple awards, like first in CPR. In my spare time I also help some causes like UNICEF and the Katrina Fund. I love to spend my time with family and friends. My hobbies are mainly bowling and playing other sports. I am looking forward to be visiting Burgenland in the summer this year.“
