Some time ago I set out to build a data base of Lehigh Valley Burgenland immigrants. I soon realized that the task was impossible-there were just too many. Nonetheless some data was gathered from various sources. A list of some from southern Burgenland who settled in Allentown, PA follow. They are  Berghold-Sorger family, friends and neighbors and came from the area around Güssing, Heiligenkreuz im Lafnitzal and Poppendorf.

If you feel some of your ancestors may have settled in the Lehigh Valley, you might wish to scan the list. Later, I will also provide a list of some Northampton immigrants.
